Theses / Practicals
We are always looking for motivated students for final theses and practicals. Depending on the topic of interest, the following skills are beneficial:
- Advanced Python programming
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning
- Dynamical systems and time series analysis
or
- Front- and back-end web development
- A genuine interest in psychological and cognitive processes
- A genuine interest in intersections of ML and the humanities/ social sciences
Students interested in a thesis project or practical training are kindly asked to write an email to humml-application@iwr.uni-heidelberg.de and include their transcript, preferred start date, and research interests, insofar as these are already known. It is also possible to do an internship in preparation for a thesis.
